A economic Observation

I’m writing this piece as an observation on how the wealthy and the middle class are in a symbiotic relationship that needs one another to survive. The wealthy have been for a long time looked at as greedy people who are sucking everyone dry. Well that’s not true with the exception of a few. Sure there are greedy, seedy Rich people out there but they are the minority, in any group there are some bad apples and they must be punished. Did you ever think how the products you use get to you such as your computer, your car, the food on the table? It takes people with money to build and run the factory, the food distribution facilities, and the transportation system to get the product to your home. Let’s look how your computer gets to you. First it’s built at a factory. Who owns the Factory? Some one wealthy. Next the software is installed. Then it’s tested and packed. The computer company has to buy the boxes from a box company. Then the computer is loaded onto a truck and taken to a train depot or a port to be put on a ship, depending were its going. Trucks, trains, and ships cost a lot of money. Then the Computer gets to the local store were you buy it. When you look at the Factory, the Trucks and Trains, and the store you bought the product from, it took someone wealthy to build the factory, to write the software, to build, buy, and run the trucks, trains, and ships, and to build and run the store. All these places have employees to help get the computer to your desk. This is a simplified version on how our economic system works.

Now let’s play God to see what happens. The Wealthy and the Middle classes make the economy run. What if we take one group away? Let’s take the Middle class off the planet first. The wealthy would survive for a while but they would sooner or later the economy would stop due to not enough Rich people to keep it going and no one would be working for them, this nothing getting done. Ok now we return the Middle class to Earth and remove the wealthy. What would happen? The economy would in a few days grind to a halt. With no store or factories open and few jobs available nothing would get to your home such as food. As you can see the wealthy and the Middle class need each other in order for the economy to run. It makes no sense to tax the wealthy at a high rate. Its biting the hand that feeds. The highest Rich should be taxed is 25% IMHO. In closing I say we need the wealthy for jobs and products and the wealthy need us as employees to their product to the market. Now Its time to end the bickering between the Wealthy and Middle classes and work together to make America better.

Ask your self this question: How does a Tax Increase on the Wealthy help me? Will it put more money in my pocket? I say no. A Tax Increase on the wealthy will not help me put more money in my pocket.
